Carers fulfil a vital role in the community, supporting family and friends. But all too often, their role isn't recognised or valued.
Young carers can provide invaluable emotional and physical support to family members, and while caring for someone can often bring positive experiences, there's no doubt that it can have an adverse effect on their lives.
