This elearning has been created to raise your awareness of cancer in the community and help you to support people with cancer.

In this first module you will gain a better understanding of what cancer is; its causes and how to reduce the risks; possible symptoms of cancer; what to do if you suspect a client has cancer; the importance of early detection; and the national cancer screening programmes available.
