Mental Capacity, Consent and DoLS
This programme will:
- Cover the 2015 Montgomery Judgement on Obtaining Consent
- Consider Mental Capacity Act Code of Practice Guidance on Assessing and Documenting Capacity
- Understand when Independent Mental Capacity Advocates 'must' and 'should' be appointed
- Understand the importance of carrying out and documenting Best Interests decisions for incapacitous patients
