HEE NW Education Transformation Conference Summer 2022 - Four for the Price of One: Supporting PIVO and Primary Care Placements - Recording

As part of the HEE NW summer 2022 Education Transformation Conference, colleagues from the University of Chester ran a session focusingon a collaborative project spanning four Cheshire and Merseyside universities, which is working to generate new PIVO and PCN placements across Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy departments. Recognising the diversity of placement opportunities in the PIVO sector is enabling themto offer a more well-rounded placement circuit, re-balancing health and social care experience, and introduce students to practice areas they may otherwise not have considered as a career opportunity. This has the added benefit of allowing less well-known areas to showcase all they have to offer, and hence, aiding future recruitment.
