Value of the Autism Peer Support Worker being Autistic
A training video that can be used to train Autism Peer Support Workers, explaining the value of the Autism Peer Support Worker being Autistic. The role can help autistic people in effective ways through mentoring or one to one support. This helps to remove some of the barriers around why certain experiences and environments are challenging for autistic people to navigate, cutting down on explanations needed and aiding understanding through shared lived experiences.
