NHSE London Safeguarding VAWG Conference 25.11.22- Part 5: Dr Liz Henderson

On the 25th November 2022, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, NHSE London Safeguarding team, (in partnership with the Mayor of London), hosted a conference to kickstart 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. The day was chaired by Susan Bookbinder, a national broadcaster and lifelong advocate against violence against women and girls.

The aim of the day was for delegates to be equipped with tools to support those they see who have suffered abuse and the conference recoridng has beendivided into several parts.

This part contains the presentation provided by Dr Liz Henderson (London Clinica Lead for VAWG) where she shares an insightful case studyof when she was a junior doctor and why she is passionate about ending VAWG.
