Enhancing Social Value across NHS London - Social Value and Procurement
Second in a series of six videos featuring Andrew Van Doorn OBE, Chief Executive of the Housing Associations’ charitable Trust (HACT) and NED in the NHS.
An introduction to the Social Value Act and Social Value Model, including recent legislation and measures. Andrew describes the mandated 10% social value weighting within NHS procurement, which is aligned with NHS priorities such as Net Zero. He outlined the tools available to measure Social Value and the importance of having a clear procurement and measurement approach.
