  2. The impact of fraudincluding real-life case studies and examples to illustrate the impact of fraud on the NHS, its patients, and the wider community. Understanding the consequences of fraud will help foster a culture of vigilance and accountability within the healthcare system.
  3. The legal and ethical implications of fraud, as well as the importance of reporting suspicions promptly and confidentially. Reporting fraud is a crucial step in safeguarding the NHS and ensuring that valuable resources are directed toward improving patient care and outcomes. We will cover the reporting routes both at NICE and through the Department of Health and Social Care Anti-Fraud Unit.
