Net Zero and Social Value Training - NHS England Central Commercial Function
The NHS England Central Commercial FunctionNet Zero and Social Value e-learning course is for procurement staff at all levels to help you implement the 10% net zero and social value weighting, which has been mandatory for every tender since April 2022.
The course takes around an hour to complete and introduces the concept of Net Zero and Social Value and how this should be applied to NHS procurements. Each module needs to be completed in one sitting.
The course takes an hour to complete and supports the NHSNet Zero and Social Value Guidance.More consistent implementation of net zero and social value weighting will shape the market sustainably, drive net zero in our supply chain, increase value for taxpayers, reduce health inequalities and maximise health outcomes.
There are three modules in this course
- Introduction to the concept of Net Zero and Social Value
- How this is applied in procurement
- How Net Zero and Social Value should be applied to NHS procurements
Once you start a module, you must complete it to be able to save your progress.This training is open to all NHS staff.
To request an access code you must join theCCF Hubon Future NHS and complete theNet Zero & Social Value Training request link, This should only take a couple of minutes. You will then receive an invitation to access the eLearning modules from “Social Value Academy”, which can take up to 10 days.If you have any difficulties accessing the course, please contactengland.ccf-sustainability@nhs.net
