Orthoptics Careers Overview

This introductory session will give an overview of the orthoptic areas of specialism: vison function and brain development, eye muscle control, the cranial and binocular vision. The session will explore who orthoptic patients are and how orthoptists apply the sciences to investigate, diagnose and treat binocular vision disorders.
By completing the session, the student will be able to demonstrate a good rationale for the profession.
