Accelerating Artificial Intelligence in health and care: results from a state of the nation survey
Resource details
We developed a survey in collaboration with industry, academia and policy makers in an attempt to capture the reality of what technology is actually being developed within the UK health and care sector, and to understand what complexity of artificial intelligent technology is being realised. This survey went live to the nation at the start of 2018 and we have captured throughout this report the initial findings from the 131 responses. In order to present a rich picture of the nation’s ecosystem and bring to life the complex and multifaceted aspects of the industry, the report also highlights a number of case studies that set the scene for the work needed to scale up evidence-based solutions that are safe, effective and offer value going forward.
