Anti-racism Train the Trainer programme (cost-attached)
#EnabledAnti-racism uses a two-stage Train-the-Trainer approach to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to deliver anti-racist training, improving the racial literacy of anyone in their workplace, whether a receptionist, educator or senior manager.
This programme aims to educate participants from the healthcare and education workforces on how to identify, challenge and dismantle the racism which occurs as a featureofworkplace culture.It will provide participants with the tools needed to become effective advocates for changing the social conditions and organisational policies and practices perpetuating discriminatory interactions between people of different ethnic groups.
This research-informed programme is curated by the ITP project and delivered by third party training provider Ligali which is led by Dr Toyin Agbetu. Developed with insights and feedback from healthcare placement providers, education providers, learners and staff from across the South West.
The first cohort will begin in April 2025 with the following session dates, sessions 1-3 will be online: Session 1 04/04/2025, Session 2 25/04/2025, Session 3 09/05/2025, Session 4 23/05/2025 (in-person in Bristol).
