Psychological Practice in Physical Health: Fundamentals Elearning Programme
This programme provides foundational information for psychological professionals new to working in physical healthcare settings.
Developed by PPN Midlands, the content was created between April and September 2024 by four Leadership Fellows in collaboration with Experts by Experience and other contributors.
The programme is approximately 40 minutes long and does not include any formal knowledge assessment.
Note regarding the End of treatment discussions section: This training programme was developed and launched in November 2024. Since that time, there has been increased public and parliamentary debate about assisted dying, including the progression of related legislative proposals. At the time of publication, assisted dying remains illegal in all parts of the UK. Clinicians should be aware of this legal context when patients raise questions or discussions relating to assisted dying and respond within current legal and professional boundaries.
