Allied Health Professions Support Workers Career Portfolio
Devon ICS used a co-production approach to develop the AHP Support Worker Career Portfolio, which is an interactive word document that implements the AHP Support Worker Competency, Education, and Career Development Framework into quality career conversations and appraisals. HEE (now NHSE Workforce Training and Education) funded the Devon ICS to undertake a pilot to test this tool across multiple AHP professions, services, and organisations. This tool is now available, and ICS’s can progress, adapt and embed as appropriate, and agree which platform they would like to host the AHP Support Worker Career Portfolio on that meets their needs and the needs of their workforce.
