Defining Trauma
The aim of this module is to raise awareness of the impact of psychological trauma on children and young people.
By the end of the module, you will be able to:
- Define what is meant by trauma
- Identify different types and categories of trauma
- Identify the conditions in which trauma is created
- Recognise the impact of psychological trauma on children and young people, and those around them
