Welcome to this e-Learning Lite package on Fire Safety.

To complete the package you will need to pass the Assessment.

Objectives:

  • The characteristics of fire, smoke and toxic fumes
  • Fire hazards involved in the working environment
  • Significant findings of relevant fire risk assessments
  • Practise and promote fire prevention
  • Basic fire safety and fire safety protocols including staff responsibilities
  • How to raise the fire alarm and actions to take on hearing the fire alarm
  • Action to take if fire breaks out or smoke is detected
  • Identify the types of fire extinguishers used in different situations
  • Evacuation procedures and associated escape routes
