Enhancing the delivery of simulation training for Resident Doctors in ENT
This poster summarises the work that was undertaken within the NHS England Midlands Fellowship role of 'ENT Surgical Education Simulation & Research', during the 2024-2025 tenure. It presents the results of three projects including: i) quality assurance of regional simulation courses in ENT; ii) a cross-sectional, comparative validation study of 3D-printed temporal bone models; iii) a national, multi-centre survey study of simulation delivery at ENT inductions for first-on-call resident doctors. Overall, the poster highlights the role of innovative educational technologies for supporting postgraduate surgical education.
This poster was presented as part of the Midlands Fellows Showcase event at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire in July 2025.
