What is escape-pain and how does it work?

This elearning session introduces healthcare and exercise professionals to the ESCAPE-pain programme, an evidence-based group rehabilitation initiative for individuals with chronic joint pain including osteoarthritis and non-specific low back pain. Drawing on insights from the Health Innovation Network and the wider ESCAPE-pain community, the session explains how the programme integrates education and tailored exercise to promote self-management, improve physical function and reduce healthcare utilisation. Learners will be able to plan implementation, understand facilitator eligibility and training, and explore cost-effectiveness and participant recruitment strategies.
