This video covers the topic of using interview data as a research tool to support your research project. It covers how to plan, structure and undertake your interviews and then how to code and analyse the transcripts to gather your data after your interviews. Examples are given and Dr Appleton explains the process to code and theme your data in detail.

Dr Becky Appleton (UCL) is a Senior Research Fellow in the Mental Health Policy Research Unit, and co-module lead for Mental Health Care - Evaluation and Policy on the Clinical Mental Health Sciences MSc. She is an experienced mixed methods researcher and systematic reviewer.
