Introduction
RESTORE2TMis a physical deterioration and escalation tool for care/nursing homes.
It is designed to support homes and health professionals to:
- Recognise when a resident may be deteriorating or at risk of physical deterioration
- Act appropriately according to the resident’s care plan to protect and manage the resident
- Speak with the most appropriate health professional in a timely way to get the right support
- Provide a concise escalation history to health professionals to support their professional decision making.
What you need for the session:
Hard copies of the Restore2minitool:It is essential that you have access to the tool during the training. Please visit the Course Documents page and download all of the documents. You will need to print a copy of the Restore2 Mini 2-page document. Please print both pages, double sided, and in full colour.
Technical equipment:Access to a laptop/computer device with sound.Training can also be accessed via a smart phone, however please be aware that a smaller screen can make seeing the detail of the eLearning more difficult.
