Memory Making 3 – Memory making in early pregnancy loss care

When a person experiences early pregnancy loss, every moment, memory and act of acknowledgement can become deeply significant. This e-learning module will help you understand how you can compassionately support individuals experiencing early pregnancy loss to identify and create meaningful memories. Through a scenario-based example, you will explore a range of memory making opportunities and consider how these can be adapted to meet the individual needs of the person experiencing the loss.

Our introductory module 'Memory Making 1 – Understanding memory making in pregnancy and baby loss' should be completed first. Completing both modules will help you understand the importance of memory making following pregnancy loss and equip you to support meaningful memory making through compassionate care and connection.

Duration: 10 to 15 minutes.

Audience: early pregnancy and maternity settings.
