ACCEND Supportive and assistive levels of practice

This elearning supports cancer support workers, cancer navigators, healthcare assistants, therapy support workers and other supportive and assistive roles involved in cancer care. It develops understanding of the aspirant cancer career and education development programme (ACCEND), the national framework and supportive workforce implementation guidance, helping learners recognise career pathways, core capabilities in practice and education requirements across cancer services. The elearning also introduces key resources to build knowledge of cancer care, health inequalities, personalised care, communication skills and professional development within the cancer workforce.
