This elearning session supports healthcare professionals involved in the autumn 2026 COVID-19 vaccination programme for eligible children aged 6 months to 11 years. It explains how the Comirnaty XFG 10 micrograms/dose mRNA vaccine works and develops knowledge of eligibility criteria, vaccination intervals, contraindications, precautions, storage, preparation, administration and management of adverse reactions. Targeted at vaccinators and other healthcare workers delivering COVID-19 vaccinations, the session also prepares learners to answer questions from children, parents and carers and signpost them to appropriate sources of information.
