Community Multi-factoral Falls Prevention Training
Falls prevention training for clinicians of all grades working in the community. Falls, slips, trips and collapses have a detrimental impact on older adults and can reduce their independence and can also cause life changing injuries. As clinicians we can support them in reducing the risk of injurious falls and help them maintain independence. This is a locally produced training with contribution and collaboration from the multi-disciplinary team with local referral and signposting options.
The first part of the training is building a knowledge base of falls risk factors and how to identify them and what you can do to reduce the risk. The second part of the training will provide you with video scenarios to put this knowledge into practice.
