Recruit for Values
The course duration: Approx. 90 minutes
The course objectives:
- Understand the benefits of including values in our recruitment processes
- Introduce the different types of bias we can experience and how these can impact on our recruitment processes, as well as how we can overcome them
- Explore equity and the impact inequity can have on recruitment quality
- Introduce and practice the Recruit for Values tools including values-linked behavioural event interview questions and situational judgment tests
The course description:
To guide learners through the Recruit for Values approach to help recruit colleagues who share our values as well as having the skills and competencies for the role. We will share best practice on recruiting for values including the importance of equity in the recruitment process and the impact of bias. Learners will also be introduced to and have the opportunity to practice our tools so they are prepared to recruit for values for their next role.
The audience: All staff in clinical and non-clinical roles who recruit colleagues
