  • Describe the scope of the Accessible Information Standard in some detail
  • Identify ways in which documents and working practices can be made more accessible for people with information and/or communication needs
  • List different types of alternative formats and communication methods, different types of communication support and key communication professionals
  • Effectively support individuals with information and communication support needs to access services and to have a positive experience of care
  • Identify and implement ways of working which not only ensure conformance with the Standard, but support greater levels of accessibility and inclusion for groups included within the Standard’s scope and others
