Online Bereavement Support during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Poster.
There are great concerns that deaths related to the COVID-19 pandemic will lead to more cases of complex bereavement. The need to socially isolate has meant that face to face bereavement counselling is harder to access than ever.
Sue Ryder’s Online Bereavement Support consists of three separate services:
1. The Online Bereavement Community off ers peer-to-peer support via an online forum
2. Online Bereavement Counselling Service offers an initial assessment followed by up to six sessions with a professional counsellor via video chat
3. Online information and resources about end of life and bereavement
