As part of the HEE NW summer 2022 Education Transformation Conference, colleagues from the University of Chesterpresented a mixed methods evaluation of a creative health placement for 60 nursing students, with eight student co-researchers. Creative health provides the opportunities for arts, creativity, and culture to be embedded in health and wellbeing activities. An Inquiry Report, ‘Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing’ (2017) recommended that healthcare professionals should have education on the evidence base and practice use of the arts for health and wellbeing; consequently, theirnursing programme has adopted this and piloted two placements in the current academic year.
