Placenta Grossing Talk Part 1
This is the first of two talks on the gross examination of the placenta. It is aimed for trainees in Histopathology, Paediatric Pathology, General Pathologists who report placental histology and biomedical scientists who are involved with or undertak placental dissection.
Dr Zafreen takes the learner through grossing placentas in a relatively concise and stepwise manner and with reference to the RCPath Tissue Pathway as well as recent placental pathology text books.
There are pictures of placentas and two pictures with fetuses within the presentation.
