338 Introduction to Food Hygiene (e-learning)
These sessions are mandatory for all new staff that serve food and beverages in the workplace and will act as a annual refresher for existing staff. This workshop will also act as a refresher for those who currently possess the Level 2 Award in Food Safety Food or equivalent.
Food hygiene- Store, prepare and serve food in a safe way; Food poisoning- recall howacute illness is brought about by eating contaminated or poisonous food; Food spoilage- Understand howbacteria isbroken down infood to the point where it is not fit to be eaten; Food contamination - Identifythe presence of harmful micro-organisms, chemicals, waste or other unwanted material in food.
