Not yet rated

This talk is part of the series of talks for ST1 and ST2 ICPT Histopathology trainees as part of the Paediatric Pathology section of the RCPath Histopathology Curriculum.

The talk covers cases where pregnancies have been terminated for fetal anomalies. It is important to appreciate and undertsand the nature of fetal anomalies, their impact on the fetus, knowledge gained for counselling the parents and advice for future pregnancies.

These postmortems also act as a form of audit for antenatal diagnosis and may confirm or refute ultrasound or other imaging diagnosis.
