The Aim of this e-learning module is to provide an overview of:

- The benefits of using the ANTT Clinical Practice Framework
- The main underpinning principles when performing ANTT
Learning Outcomes; to understand:
- The aim of Aseptic Practice
- The terminology used
- How ANTT can be applied to any invasive clinical skills procedure
- The 3 ways in which micro-organisms can contaminate Aseptic Technique
- The methods used to protect Key-Parts and key-Sites from contamination
- The differences between performing Standard-ANTT and Surgical-ANTT
- The use of Standard Precautions during ANTT
