Gateway C Learning: Faecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT) [High Quality}
This course covers the use of the new Faecal Immunochemical Test, which has been rolled out this year to replace the use of gFOBTs. It considers both the use of FIT as a screening tool and with appropriate symptomatic patients, aiding decision making for referrals on a suspected cancer pathway. Within this course you will review the cases of Simon and Beth, both of whom did not t the typical demographic for bowel cancer and fell outside of NICE guidelines. Consider how the use of FIT may be appropriate in similar cases in your practice
