HEE Webinar: "Jay's Story" Patient Journey Resource - South Yorkshire: Q&A
The South Yorkshire Schools Team for NHS and Social Care Careers in partnership with Health Education England have created a simulated patient journey video. The Jay Perez Story is a 30-minute video following Jay’s road traffic accident and his journey to recovery. The video has been professionally filmed and scripted and a young actor plays the part of Jay. Filmed on location across a range of health and care settings in South Yorkshire and with real job holders playing themselves the film feels authentic and relatable. Our target audience is school age children, their teachers and parents. The intention is to increase knowledge of roles and create opportunities for young people to imagine themselves in different jobs and different settings. This is a copy of the question and answer session from the webinar.
