Enhancing Social Value across NHS London - Social Value and environmental sustainability
Fifth in a series of six videos featuring Andrew Van Doorn OBE,Chief Executive of the Housing Associations’ charitable Trust (HACT) and NED in the NHS.
Environmental sustainability is a key social value goal for the NHS and supports commitments to reach Net Zero. Procurement and the NHS supply chain represent opportunities to drive reductions in air pollution and single use plastic among other NHS priorities. Andrew provides some examples of social value in action to support environmental sustainability and suggests typical partnerships needed to promote these goals.
