This is the third of four modules focusing on granulocyte immunology. In this module, we will focus on the laboratory methods used to detect and define granulocyte-specific antibodies, and how Human Neutrophil Antigens (HNA) are assigned using DNA-based methods. It is aimed at all staff who work in a Blood Bank, Fetal Medicine Unit, NHS Trust with responsibility for haemostasis, and laboratory-based scientists that perform testing for HNA antibodies.
