5 out of 5 (1 rating)

This course identifies the key features of governance within the NHS. It will then examine the various options for dealing with risk – for example, trying to eliminate it altogether, transferring it elsewhere, deciding to take the risk or trying to mitigate or reduce it. It explores the various ways of mitigating risk, explaining how risks can be identified and managed effectively.

The final section of this course looks at how much risk an organisation is prepared to live with while illustrating the effect of lessons learned from governance failings in the NHS.
