Reschedule a Theatre Slot - Cancel the Booked Procedure and Update the Waitlist Category
In this module we are going to show you how to cancel a booked procedure.
If a patient’s booked procedure needs to be rescheduled, the process is to cancel the original date and re-book a new date.
On cancelling the original date, MEDITECH will automatically create a new pending procedure so that the procedure can be re-booked if required.
The edit button MUST not be used to change the date and time of a procedure as it will not correctly move the procedure on the Theatre Schedule.
