HEE Online-Party Provider Live Event 7: Medical Mavericks Recording
Medical Mavericks are an enrichment provider for schools, colleges, local authorities, and health trusts. Its mission is to showcase the huge range of careers in the NHS that students don't know about, and provide meaningful careers guidance with online work-related learning that helps students make more informed career choices. The main aim is to promote a wide range of careers, not just doctors and nurses. Medical Mavericks mainly focus on Healthcare Science careers but also showcase the Allied Health Professions too.
They inspire students in several ways.

The main course is the online work-related learning course. Medical Mavericks have interviewed (and continue to interview) dozens of medical professionals for ALL areas of the NHS, with new careers added every half term. The interviews aim to give students an insight into the career and the everyday roles.
