This session introduces you to interventional radiology (including cardiac radiology) using fluoroscopic x-ray equipment and, in particular, the hazards associated with this work and how these can be reduced. This session is aimed at all staff who regularly work in specialist x-ray rooms used for such work (particularly if they have not received specialist training in this area). This session was reviewed by Christie Theodorakou and updated in November 2020.
