The NQN Employment Offer Guidance Toolkit is a concise, high-level resource designed to tackle recruitment, retention, and attrition challenges for employers of newly qualified nurses (NQNs) in London. It offers practical strategies for healthcare employers and educational institutionsfocusing on creating supportive environments where NQNs can thrive in their early careers.

The toolkit covers recruitment, selection, onboarding, and early career development, providing actionable insights for organisations to adopt. It also includes new guidance to help students and NQNs navigate their employment journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for the transition into professional practice.

Developed in collaboration with employers, universities, NQNs and students, the toolkit reflects insights from key reports such as the 2018 RePAIR Review and the RePAIR Impact of COVID report, emphasising the importance of holistic support in reducing turnover and improving retention across London.
