This session provides an overview of radiation protection for theatre staff involved in sentinel lymph node localisation and biopsy (SLNB). This will include information about radioactivity and radiation, an explanation of the SLNB process as well as the risks, controls and how to protect staff and patients. The relevant legislation will also be detailed.
