IBMS Support Hub: What does equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) mean?
The 5th Support Hub was presented by Tahmina Hussain, Sue Jones and Heena Mistry. This session focuses on the new HCPC SoPs for biomedical scientists and the updated QAA Subject Benchmark Statement for degree programmes in Biomedical Science and/or Biomedical Sciences. These new standards provide a framework for promoting equity of opportunities for all and require everyone to understand their personal responsibility for inclusive practice.
