DEALING WITH IMPOSTER SYNDROME
You may be experiencing feelings of imposter syndrome if you are successful in your career and have feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt or a fear of being ‘found out’. You might put your success down to luck, or huge effort rather than because of your talent and abilities. There’s likely to be a mismatch between how you see yourself and how others see you. This mismatch becomes a key issue at interviews and when starting a new job. When the need to impress others is paramount, there’s no room for feeling like a fraud.
