Medicines Optimisation Module 5: Calculating Drug Doses
Welcome to the fifth eLearning module, Calculating Drug Doses. This module will introduce you to some of the important considerations when calculating medicines doses and give you the opportunity to practice your skills and test your ability and understanding. This module is not intended to provide maths training but will look at some basic maths practices to help you perform the necessary calculations.
The topics in this program have been designed to be used by any healthcare professional requiring support in handling medicines safely, understanding drug doses and quantities, and gaining confidence in performing a variety of medicines calculations.
