Area-Specific Capabilities
These frameworks define the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for advanced practice in specific clinical areas. They:
- Provide clear capability standards aligned to the Multi-Professional Framework for Advanced Practice.
- Support education providers, supervisors, and employers in designing curricula and assessment.
- Enable workforce planning by outlining progression pathways.
- Cover areas such as musculoskeletal, older people’s care, pelvic health, community rehabilitation, and more. Goal: Ensure advanced practitioners deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care tailored to specialty needs.
