Resource: CAHPR Accelerator Project 2024
CAP 24, commissioned by NHS England, supports the UK AHP research and innovation agenda across four nations (May 2024–Apr 2025). Delivered by CAHPR and 14 AHP professional bodies, it includes four work packages:
- Research Resource Bank – online hub with funding directories, networks, and tools (first upload Oct 2024, second Dec 2024).
- Campaign Planning – strategies to ensure equitable AHP access to research funding.
- Mapping Workforce – metrics and methodology to map UK AHP clinical/practitioner academic workforce (piloting Nov–Dec 2024).
- Leadership Map & Network – design and engagement plan for AHP research leaders.
Focus: building resources, lobbying for fair funding, workforce mapping, and leadership development.
