How culture can be developed to support parents with the psychological impact of a neonatal stay
Bliss and The Relational Practice have collaborated to create a series of short videos explaining the psychological impact of neonatal care.
Dr. Davy Evans is a consultant clinical psychologist with The Relational Practice, providing training, consultation, supervision, and reflective practice across health and social care settings, in particular in the perinatal system. He also works in the NHS, and has spent the last seven years working and leading in neonatal and paediatric services.
This video, which is aimed at supporting healthcare professionals, will look at how the culture of neonatal teams is important in shaping the psychological impact of neonatal care, what neonatal teams can do to create the conditions which support positive relationships, what those teams need in order to achieve this and what psychological professionals can do to help.
Our thanks to Dr Davy Evans.
