The CURE project is a comprehensive hospital-based treatment service for patients with an addiction to tobacco. The aim of this project is to reduce the number of hospital admissions, healthcare utilisation and save lives.

This interactive module will help you improve your knowledge of this disease and provide you with the skills to offer very brief advice to inpatients who smoke and support a smokefree site.

By the end of the module, you should be able to;

  • Understand tobacco addiction
  • Feel confident providing very brief advice to smokers
  • Feel confident in helping to support a smokefree site
