The enhance module supports learning towards the following foundation curriculum competencies:

  • FPC4 Communicates with patients sensitively and compassionately to assess their physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • FPC3 Holistic planning: diagnose and formulate treatment plans (with appropriate supervision) that include ethical consideration of the physical and psychological.
  • FPC3 Recognises the importance of coexisting conditions, including mental health conditions, in assessment and management. The core learning areas are health promotion & public health, and appraisal of evidence.
